Dance shoe sole (also reffered to as suede or chrome leather sole)

Most auf dance shoes soles are made of suede (also referred to as chrome leather). This are more flexible and have more grip, than a conventional leather sole for street use.

By accumulating of dance floor wax, durt and dust on the sole, dance shoes suede soles become step by step more slippery. They can or must be cleaned with a special dance shoe brush. Please find our instruction for brushing dance shoes here.

The condition of the suede material is different dependent of the manufacturer, though all suede soles are qualified to be brushed. They cannot be damaged by a normal use of the shoe brush.

Attention
Only suede soles are suitable for bushing. There are some styles with a leather sole for street use, which cannot be brushed.
